The Hunt For D.C Public Library Censored Books Is On For BANNED BOOKS WEEK

The Color Purple by Alice WalkerStarting on September 6th was the kick off of this major hunt – major book hunt that is. There is literally a scavenger hunt going on in Washington D.C amongst the businesses where once censored books of the DC Public Library system are hidden. If a lucky person finds one, guess what? It belongs to the finder! Thus, this is sort of like a finder’s keeper, losers weeper sort of thing. But, just to make things a bit easier, there are clues being given out if you search the hashtag #UncensoredDC.
