STATIC, the DC Comic Superhero Coming To Life in Film With Michael B. Jordan

Get ready for a state of shock with when actor Michael B. Jordan, known from Black Panther as Kilmonger, takes the DC Comic character STATIC, written by Dwayne McDuffie and Robert L Washington III, to film.

Michael B. Jordan confirmed it all with a tweet. See below. Don’t get it twisted. Jordan won’t play STATIC’s character. He is the producer of it all.

For those who don’t know about STATIC, he is a fictional superhero, his first appearance in Static #1 that you see below which was release in 1993.

Virgil Ovid Hawkins is the human with superpowers that is actually STATIC, so you can call him a meta-human since he has electromagnetic control powers, meaning he can manipulate magnetic and electrical energy while storing it in his body. He has complete control over it, however, his weakness is insulation, or insulators. He’s toast with that.

Prepare for STATIC to come to life with Michael B. Jordan on the big screen really soon.
