Too many times throughout life, millions of people become stuck in a chase. This chase can be after something or things that can slowly pull a person away from his or her true calling.
In Paula Faris’s new memoir CALLED OUT: WHY I TRADED TWO DREAM JOBS FOR A LIFE OF TRUE CALLING, the former The View host reveals how although she became a wonderful journalist on a major network, it was this same career that began to consume her. Finding herself becoming depleted on all sides, she knew she needed to come out of it all and felt she was being called out by God.
With a foreword by Max Lucado, CALLED OUT is a book that many professionals and influencers feel themselves in at some point. There are many people who have been in her same position which is why this particular book is so powerful – it may let those in the situation know that it is okay to let go and let God.
In a recent interview on Rachel Cruze Show, Paula Faris discusses a work life balance and how the idea that women should be able to do everything and do it perfectly is absolutely not true at all – “At least for me, it doesn’t apply to my life. It’s about hanging on enjoying the ride and giving yourself the same amount of grace that you give other people.”
CALLED OUT: WHY I TRADED TWO DREAM JOBS FOR A LIFE OF TRUE CALLING will release on April 21, 2020.
