Deep Delta Justice by Matthew Van Meter is a true story pulled from the racist history of Louisiana that shows how a black man, on a peace mission as he intervened to stop a fight, was arrested for “putting his hand on the arm of a white child.”

This story recounts how this black man received help from a white attorney to fight one of the most racist white supremacists of that land in the case of Duncan vs. Louisiana which changed history.
