This was bound to happen in a climate such as the present one in America, and it’s great news. Netflix will take books by Ibram X. Kendi, best selling author of anti-racism books such as Stamped From the Beginning and Antiracist Baby, making them into films. According to Indiewire, Kendi will also be responsible for a film for children.
On February 2nd, Kendi’s next book will release titled Four Hundred Souls: A Community History of Africa America in which he and author Keisha N. Blain have compiled the essays ninety writers over the past 400 years of the presence of Africa in America.
