Where do we start?
Columbus Short. We all know him from movies, although before he was even known as an actor, he was a dancer/choreographer for Britney Spears. In acting, he is known for movies such as Death at a Funeral, Cadillac Records, Stomp the Yard, and even one of the most celebrated television series – Scandal.
But what is he doing now? Well, since he hasn’t secured any blockbuster roles on television or in theaters for a while, you can find Columbus Short published…as in book published.
On September 1, 2020, Columbus Short becomes an author with the release of SHORT STORIES: the Autobiography of Columbus Short, and to summarize, the memoir is stated to show how that from chaos can come clarity.
Columbus Short had his fair share of ups and downs, going from the stage to the movies to court battles to which he gave a no jail time plea of guilty, avoiding jail to get community service for domestic violence. Atop that, Short has his share of drug and alcohol issues, that led to the bottoming out of his career.
However, there is always a way of recovery and a way back up. Let’s see what Columbus Short has shared in his book about what he’s learned and how he’s grown. Will it be just in time for a brand new start?
Let’s hope so.
