Lupita Nyong’o, Michael J. Fox, Chef Marcus Samuelsson & More Are On for the National Book Festival 2021

It’s about that time for National Book Festival 2021 which kicks off with Open a Book, Open a World intro on September 12th on PBS. From there, the National Book Festival it moves on through September 17th through the 26th, and it is truly to be an event to take part in, so don’t miss it!

Anyway, guess who will be rocking the event? Many fantastic authors will be, of course, such as Lupita Nyong’o of the mighty Black Panther movie, model and author of Sulwe, along with author and renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson who just released a docuseries on Black cuisines in the Americas, will be part of the amazing event, including Roxane Gay, the best selling author of The Banks, An Untamed State and Hunger.

The National Book Festival will also be an event where there will be one on one questions via on demand video. One of the authors that are said to be participating in that event is the author of Sharice’s Big Voice: A Native Kid Becomes a Congresswoman – Sharice Davids. She is one of the first two Native American women to become a member of the United States Congress.

Another great part about this years festival is that Levar Burton whom everyone knew at one point from the hit children’s show, The Reading Rainbow, will host, inviting all in on day one!
