Taking place on April 8th at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel in Pasadena, California, various female authors will speak about their own personal journeys, and among these authors are bestselling authors Yaa Gyasi of the book Homegoing and Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney of The Nest. Both books are to have film adaptations.
Yaa Gyasi and Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney are two of the Main Ballroom Speakers of the day along with authors Vendela Vida and Amy Stewart. Vida is the author of The Driver’s Clothes Lie Empty while Stewart is the author of the book Lady Cop Makes Trouble.
Other authors include Elizabeth McKenzie,Rufi Thorpe and Jung Yun.
